Shoebox Ministry Through July we will be preparing for the hot days of summer by collecting: water, gently used summer hats or caps, light weight t-shirts, chap stick and sun screen to help out our homeless in the Valley. These are such basic items that we take for granted. Let’s make life more tolerable for those in need! Glasses for Guatemala Provide the gift of sight and light! Bring your old pair of prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses or sunglasses to church and put them in the Guatemala Glasses box for delivery. |

Desert Streams will collect school supplies for our sister congregation,
Pan de Vida Lutheran in Surprise.
Collection will end Sunday, August 1st,
so find those school bargains for all types
of supplies now and place your items in the
correct collection bin in the church entry.
Let's put smiles on these children's faces!

Let all of us “strike” off for AMF Bowling Center

for bowling fun with our Desert Streams
brothers and sisters!
Two hours of bowling, shoe rental
and all the pizza you can eat will cost $15/person.
Adult supervision will be provided for children (6 years old and up) for Bumper
Ball Bowling.
